Presence, Consciousness and Love
There is nothing special about bringing more consciousness and love into our lives
Simply pay attention to your self, your breath, your body and emotions, your pain and pleasure.
Just place your awareness, place a gentle loving hand, right now. Now is the Time.
No need to try and change anything. When I want to improve myself then there is no love.
Just be fully present. We do not need to do anything more to receive Universal Love.
This is not a blind passive submission. It is a conscious and active doing nothing.
We are already loved. Presence is love. Deep listening is love. Connection is love.
Presence and consciousness allow the infinite power and love of the cosmos to flow.
Consciously doing nothing allows great change, to new levels of consciousness.

Loving Containment - nurturing integrity
The causes of many of our difficulties in life and relationships are often about wounds in early childhood in the areas of intimacy and love. Adequate and respectful love helps the baby and child to build ego strength and self-esteem, to develop healthy boundaries. This means to be able to feel and value its own needs and to be able to express them with the relevant emotions. This develops a clear identity and ability to communicate with others in order to satisfy the personal needs through the rest of life.
In order to have satisfactory relationships we need clear boundaries based upon self-understanding and self-esteem. This relates to all kinds of relationships: friends, work, lovers, parents, children, therapeutic, spiritual, ... To develop these clear boundaries and self-esteem we need to nurture trust and respect in deep intimacy. This means a gentle embrace which contains and takes great care of the complex roots of our Inner-child.
For any therapeutic, spiritual, energetic and shamanic work it is even more important that we have healthy boundaries. Any difficulties in our human boundaries will be amplified in more powerful energetic work where we need to develop high levels of sensitivity, discernment and protection - rooted in the earth with love and compassion.
Nurturing Integrity workshops bring this understanding, respect and compassion to gently embrace the hurt inner child … so as to develop clearer boundaries and self-esteem for all our adult relationships.
Finding the embrace of the earth
Often from our early traumas or conflicts, we have separated ourselves from aspects of our family and culture. Sometimes we feel superior to our parents and grandparents. Our modern judeo-christian culture separates us from nature, the Earth and the animal kingdom. Again we believe ourselves to be superior. All our arrogant adolescent attempts to control nature and to control our nature, usually lead to perverse and destructive outcomes. This has the effect of cutting us off from the primary nurturing embrace from the Earth and the ancestors. All shamanic cultures have their ways of re-finding and maintaining these connections, which will give strength and coherence to our personal boundaries and self-esteem.
A Healing Meditation
Find a place where you can lie or sit comfortably for a while - face down directly on the Earth is probably the best, with your arms open to give and receive this embrace.
Imagine that you are the earth – the whole earth in you with all her infinite complexity. There is no way your mind can conceive the details. Just as there is no way your mind can conceive the infinite complexity of all that happens in your own body. You are the Earth - breathe together with her, like a baby in the bosom of her mother. The earth does not judge good and bad … there is suffering and violence, there is peace and love, … they are parts of a greater complexity that we cannot understand. At any moment where you find the mind thinking, judging good or bad, separating yourself, ... let out a deep sigh and fall deeper into the embrace of the wise mother. The Earth embraces all the complex cycles of life and death with consciousness and love. So now let yourself rest innocently in this embrace of the Earth.

Ho'oponopono
Ho'oponopono comes from the Hawaiian Huna Shamanic tradition. It is a simple way of making peace with all life and for cleansing guilts from all your own past.
Whilst it is simple and humble it is also very powerful. It just requires the repetition, with consciousness and love, of 4 brief phrases:
Try sticking up the phrases near where you work, sit, cook ... so that they occasionally catch your eye and remind you to make this cleansing. Try repeating the phrases in your mind as you sit on a bus or walk in the street. – Doing this I found so much judgement in myself towards others and towards myself. Things for me to continue cleaning gently.
An advanced phase is to negotiate with a loved one to do Ho'oponopono together in direct. One way is to take a parent-child roles, posture and holding embrace, the child held in the lap of the parent, with eye contact. The person in the parent role does Ho'oponopono to the child for some 5 minutes. Then the person in the child role says it to the parent. Whoever is receiving says nothing ... just listening and feeling. You can explore variations of this, depending who you are working with.
Whilst it is simple and humble it is also very powerful. It just requires the repetition, with consciousness and love, of 4 brief phrases:
- “I am sorry” – (I am aware of my responsibility for creating everything that is in my consciousness so I am sorry for how I contribute to your pain)
- “Please forgive me” – (there is no blame, let there be forgiveness for us all, we are all innocent and doing the best we can do)
- “Thank you” - for being you, for the learning I am getting from this, for ...
- “I love you” - as you are
